This shorefront cabin is located on the Little Thorofare on North Haven. It is presently the least expensive waterfront offered for sale. The cabin overlooks Burnt Island which is owned by the town and has a conservation easement in place. Burnt Island is accessible by foot during low tide. You can walk out your front door and take advantage of the trails around the island. Sit on the deck and enjoy watching the boats and schooners sail by. Wonderful views to Deer Isle and Cadillac Mountain in the distance. The cabin was built in 1997 by the island's premier builder. A new roof was put on 5 years ago and the deck was replaced in March,2024. There is a full foundation with a partial concrete floor. Double doors make it easy to store kayaks or a small row boat. There is also a washing machine hook-up in the basement with room for a dryer is desired. Expansion is possible by adding dormers to the second floor and/or enclosing the current decks.
