    Are you looking for a mini farm, or a truly lovely, home site on a beautiful, ample piece of land? Then you might want to come see this one. It may have served as a farm since way back in the 1930's. That's when the old house was built. But whenever it was, the land was cleared and developed with lovely fields, and beautiful woods remaining all around the perimeter. Other exceptional home sites are likely found up the hill in the field. The view from the old home is really gorgeous, but building further up will magnify the view. There's already an established inroad going up the hill. The old home is still much like it was originally designed, but it has suffered through its age. It has small rooms, low ceilings and it is in a generally poor condition. We did not attribute value to it, the land is worth its price, but the old home sits on a nice seat for a new one. Otherwise, the home could be used to provide 830+ sq ft of building that is suitable for storage along with the other outbuildings near it. True it will need some repair. For those who might appreciate a little historic flavor, the building could be attractive, even intriguing with a little sprucing up. Actually, the seller lived there until recently. There is probably an old septic system that could still be working if it has access to water. Water used to be available to the home from a city-maintained spring up the road. It served some of the housing in that area for a long time. This source is no longer viable due to broken pipes that will not be replaced. There is large field on the other side of Elihu Rd, which is also a part of the property. This property can be used for whatever purpose you have in mind. We think there is a pump there that used to pull the water in from the spring. As the listing is new, we are still working to discover features of the property, including whether a well was installed near the pump in the field after the pipes from the spring were broken. A really good thing you might want to know is that the Clinch School K-12 is very highly regarded by everyone I've spoken to. It is one of the first things people mention when I refer to any area in its school district. Also, you might care to know there is a single, solitary burial with a very respectable headstone on the property near the barn.
