FAQs o Fully furnished townhome 2-bedroom rental, living room, and kitchen (office space will be locked). o Your top-floor bedrooms features opening windows with black-out shades, queen-sized beds and nearly new mattresses, closet, dresser, and shelf space, bathtub and shower with caddy, and all-cotton towels. o The bathrooms' tiled floor are heated as is the rest of the floors in the house, and on-demand hot water. The washer and dryer are located on the same floor in a utility closet, which also stores some household supplies, iron, and ironing board. o Your kitchen features the usual gas oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, as well as coffee maker, soda maker, and stove-top grill. The outdoor gas grill is plumbed to the house. o There are several other cooking appliances available for use, such as Instapot, wok, and slow-cooker, and a complete array of cooking utensils, chef knives, pots/pans, etc. o Plates, bowls, and flatware o Food storage containers o The living room/dining room includes reclining leather couch and pull-out loveseat for guests, and on-demand gas fireplace. The bathroom includes bath and shower. We keep a stock of towels, bedding, and blankets for your use. The kitchen and living room are laid out as a great room, featuring a granite-topped island (with power), dining room table, and large living room with couches, TV, and stereo. The floors are bamboo, and the room is decorated with some art and photography. Most appliances are nearly new and in excellent working order. There's ample countertop for food preparation and cooking. The 2-door refrigerator features deli drawer, filtered water, and ice maker. The freezer includes three drawers, offering about 2 cubic feet food storage. The oven includes a convection option, and the 4-burner gas stovetop features a reversible cast iron grill and griddle. Enjoy plenty of ambient daytime light and fresh air from all the working windows and deck slider (including screen) on this floor. Our home is about 20 years old, so there are power outlets in convenient places in all rooms. While Ballard is an urban setting, our small yard is overflowing with greenery, trees, and bushes. This room is also the heart of the entertainment system. The room offers seven in-ceiling speakers that will broadcast music, news, podcasts, etc. from the Bluetooth-enabled receiver. The same receiver creates surround sound for movies shown on the 65-inch television. It's a smart TV, Google-enabled to stream major channels. Adding to the home comforts is an on-demand gas fireplace, which warms the room quickly with a thermostat-controlled fan. Entry to the townhome is via a small driveway from the street into a carport and our front door. The path is lit by motion sensing lights. The front door includes a locking bolt and handset. Inside the door, there is an armoire for coats and hats, and room for shoes too. Stairs take you to the second floor living area. Ballard is nestled on the north side of Seattle, and our townhome is walking distance to a variety of amenities, including restaurants, theater, pharmacy, library, parks, beach, groceries, coffee shops, and interesting mercantile boutiques of all kinds. Within blocks are major bus stops for Metro busses traveling in all directions, including Seattle Rapid Ride, making most major hospitals an easy commute.
