That include fishing at a private reservoir 1.7 miles, Gambling and restaurants in Central City 3.4 miles, Gambling and restaurants in Black Hawk 4.0 miles, Gilpin County $4.8 million recreation center, for swimming, working out, and more 7.5 miles, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, for hiking and fishing 12.1 miles, White Ranch Open Space, for hiking, 21.5 miles, and Denver is only 60 minutes away. The famous Central City Opera House is open during the summer months. Four wheeling is 4 miles up the road, as well as all around us. Plenty of hiking and fishing abound, with brook trout swimming in the stream off of the deck. In winter, snow skiing at Eldora is only 30 minutes away or slightly further to Loveland, Breckenridge, Winter Park or Vail ski areas.
