    In reference to the disclaimer about the text below being from an old listing, c'mon Zillow. You can own up to the fact that the price was inflated by dumping in more square footage right as the country was experiencing a loss during the housing crisis. This practice seemed shady. I like this website, and monitored it since early 2008. It was in 2010 when all my neighbors houses and my own had this odd value increase. My post from 2010: Zillow had posted almost double amount of square feet that my home actually had, a few months after the housing crash. I never understood that until I saw how quickly the "value" increased. I decided to claim my own house in March of 2010 to put the actual sq. feet in so that the value would not be inflated, or cause my neighbor's houses to be inflated. This resulted in the value graph dropping dramatically, but it is more realistic now. I would encourage all my neighbor's or anyone to claim their houses and do the same to protect from appraisal fraud. :) Cheers! Neighborhood Description Fort Collins has become a strongly left-leaning community. If this is your idea of bliss, then welcome home. If your opinions differ than of the progressive movement, there is a chance to feel much more isolated in the community. The bike trails are right by, Grocery and Hardware stores are easily walkable or better yet, a nice bike ride. Walgreens drug store is around the corner. We also have one of the great American icons right in the back of the neighborhood - The Holiday Twin Drive In. It is still as romantic as it was the year it opened. CSU is accessable easily by a bike, or there is a city bus stop just yards away from the house, which goes directly to the highs chool and college campuses. I feel fortunate to live in house so well built, although in 1972, but I can assure the construction of the houses in this neighborhood far exceeds the cookie cutters you could pay twice for, today. Great spot to live, but if I had to add in some negatives, here they are 1) This street never adopted secure mailboxes like the rest of the neighborhood. I only had one big problem with the old-school mailbox getting wrecked. I'd vote for a single street mailbox. 2) Living on Stuart, a main artery into the neighborhood, the 25 mph speed limit seems like a number to be beaten for a high score at times. 3) Living on the far west side of Fort Collins will add considerable drive time if you want to get to the interstate. Patience with traffic is important. Remember, you're never stuck in traffic, you are the traffic.
