After enjoying the beach, you can use two outdoor showers next to the pool to wipe the beach sand off before getting in the pool. Kick your feet in the water in the new heated swimming pool with a special sun shelf for toddlers or adults to sit on with Adirondack-style chairs including nice tile siding and multiple sitting shelves. If you're in the mood to tour around the rest of the island, catch the free trolley out the back door and it will take you to any of the beaches, restaurants, shops or grocery stores along Gulf Drive anywhere on Anna Maria Island. Take the trolley one stop down (or stroll along the beach the one mile) to the old historic Bridge Street area of Bradenton Beach to enjoy the Key West style restaurants and shops. If you enjoy painting or photography, the sunsets are among the best in the world. The new swimming pool includes a large sun shelf where you can place the plastic Adirondack-style chairs and kick your feet around in the water is about 6-8 inches deep. The sun shelf also includes a fountain that is adjustable from a low gurgle to 5 feet high. Then the pool has a sitting shelf around 18 inches deep. The rest of the pool is about 3 to 5.5 feet deep. The pool includes two more sitting shelf's on the far end that are around 18 inches deep. One of those extra sitting shelf's on the far end has a soaker spout to massage bad backs. The new pool includes lots of deck, yard area, and landscaping to sit around and watch kids play in the pool. The Gulf-View Retreat (2nd Floor) and Pool-Side Retreat (1st Floor) offers everything you need for your beach stay! Beach toys for the kids are available in our outdoor shed. Dishes, pots, pans, linens and towels are all provided - just bring your swimsuit and enjoy! The Gulf-View Retreat and Pool-Side Retreat both feature a split plan with the master bedroom having it's own bathroom and on the other two queen-size bedrooms sharing one bath. There is an additional pull out sofa bed in the family room. Granite countertops throughout the unit provide luxury at your fingertips.
