The Terry House Our Renters This rental is designed to accommodate working professionals for mid-term stays of 1 to 12 months. The Terry House is conveniently located just 0.8 miles from Baylor Scott & White Clinic and Urgent Care, 2.3 miles from St. David's Georgetown Hospital, and 6.7 miles from Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital along with many other medical centers that host traveling nurses and medical contractors. As you wander through the rooms, you'll find beautiful places to sit, read, and reconnect. There are 4 bedrooms with 3 of them being set up for sleeping. The primary bedroom has a king-sized mattress, the other 2 rooms are adequately fitted with queen mattresses. The 4th room is a dedicated workspace with couch. Outside, you'll find a garden with edible fruits and veggies along with a wide array of greenery and flowers. Peek out the back window at dawn and dusk to spot the many birds that enjoy our sweet space. The Terry House is also close to downtown, where you can experience just how sweet Georgetown really is. Just 8 minutes away is the iconic town square, home to local favorites: 309 Coffee, always buzzing with community; Golden Rule, where happy hour brings the tastiest apps and cocktails; 600 Pizza, a favorite even for non pizza lovers; and Monument Cafe, a feel-good diner. Every April, the Two Step Inn dances into town, just a short 20-minute walk up the road perfect for guests wanting to stay close enough to catch some of the best country artists in the world. The Red Poppy Festival arrives each spring, filling downtown with local vendors, drinks, shopping, and live music for a three-day weekend.
