Just down the steps from the deck are more steps leading to the basement (there are steps from inside, too). The basement has a sauna in the utilities portion, as well as a separate laundry room that also contains a full bath downstairs with a tub and shower. The next basement room, currently used as a workout and exercise room, could be converted to a bedroom with the addition of a closet and maybe some partitioning and could even become a separate apartment, if needed. Back upstairs, as you come in the front door, to your left is the front bedroom suite with a full bath. Large windows keep it bright and airy and the bath is done in period tile and has a free-standing, claw-foot tub and shower attachment with brass fittings. Down the hall is the master bedroom, also on the left, with a wood-framed, mullioned glass door to the master bath. The master also has a free-standing, claw-foot tub with a separate shower stall in the corner. Double sinks, in opposite corners of the bath, have tiled countertops with open-to-view, brass plumbing under each. There is a Tiffany-style lamp shade here in the master bath (and one in the dining room). A second door in the master bath provides easy access to/from the kitchen, as well. The foundation walls in the basement are native rock on concrete, mostly finished on the inside with wall-board. In the back yard, a multi-level set of decks again the back-fence-foliage provides plenty of opportunity for afternoon sun-worshipping or casual drinks with friends while watching children play on the expanse of grass. There are, as mentioned above, several fruit trees and garden plants, including some berry bushes, as well as decorative plants including roses and more. To the left of the house, as you're facing it from the street, is a long gravel driveway to a two-car, detached garage with plenty of room for the RV toys. There is potential for use up in the attic, if desired. An updated water heater, gas furnace, electrical service panel, and a new water line out front help with peace of mind about the age of the home and the paint (inside and out) is relatively fresh.
