    Original 1950s Lakehouse – retro, glamp, and lake front. Agents Welcomed Originally built in the 1950s, this small block cabin was originally a weekend rebuild project for almost 10 years. The cabin has been in our family since the 1950s. The small cabin measures 700sqft including the back addition. We just completed a remodel project on the cabin which includes adding a front parking space, new kitchen countertop, new faucet, and new refrig. In addition, the back addition was extensively rebuilt and new footers poured with rebar and additional blocking. The joists were also braced and new insulation was added underneath. The home is heated with a propane tank/baseboard and cooled with window AC units. There is ample space under the house for an HVAC system if you’d like to install one. The roof is in good condition. The inside still retains its 1950s character. The new black granite compliments the knotty pine paneling and new appliances. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is a large front room and sweeping back addition that looks out onto the lake. The fully developed trees provide shade and add to the tranquil setting. The house is sold as-is. Inspections are welcome but as with any older cabin, there is always something you could repair or upgrade. This is a great property for weekend retreats or an Airbnb. The property does border the lake. The property extends to the water and the drop is steep. Steps could be installed and the possibility of a dock might exist (others are doing it). You’d have to check local rules and regulations. The new parking spot can easily handle small cars. The pics show a larger SUV. It will be tight with a 350 or extra cabin longer truck. You could extend wall to property line for a longer truck. We post video shortly - or call to ask for video. If the parking spot is occupied when arriving, do not park in the grass and proceed a little further down the hill and park in the triangle/circle turnabout.
