This is a sweet two-family house with one apartment on the first floor, and the second apartment comprising the second and third floors. The landlords live in the first-floor apartment. The room for rent is in the second apartment which has two bedrooms on the third floor that are rented out separately. The room is unfurnished and has lots of natural light and a nice view. The second floor has a furnished shared living space for those two renters: full eat-in kitchen, living room, bathroom, and enclosed porch; along with two office spaces for the landlords. This is the only space that the landlords use on the second floor, and their doors are kept closed for everyone's privacy. We are in downtown Northampton on a charming little street, with the bike path on one side of us, and Shelburne Coffee Roasters on the other. There is a bus stop just around the corner, and the train station and grocery store are a 5-minute walk. We're a quiet family, friendly and respectful of all.
