Looking for those who appreciate the aesthetic and feel of an older house, and the artistic charm of a creatively restored property. This unique house was built in the early 1920s and retains its old world charm, while having been remodeled to create a contemporary and comfortable feel. LOCATION: Located 5 miles west of downtown, and 1 mi from Interstate 40/26/240. Very convenient to Patton Ave and 2 miles from popular West Asheville's Haywood Rd. Less than one mile to stores. Convenient and accessible, with space and some privacy. Houses are close by, but nit like in a regular neighborhood. While the road does have a good amount of usage during the day, it is very quiet at night. Great place to put bikes, camping equipment, things wrapped in plastic or totes, but not to store highly valued items. However... STUDIO/EXTRA STORAGE: If you're looking for a healthy amount of extra space or storage, we are also renting a detached 700sf storage building with electricity. It has cement floors, 16 ft high ceilings, and could easily house a car, a boat, and/or lots of items. It could also be used as a practice space, workshop, woodshop, art studio, gym, etc. Just please note that the space cannot be used for anything that could be dangerous (ie flammable) or illegal. We offer this extra spot as a reduced rate to the tenants for $200. If you don't want it, we will rent it to another party who will respectfully use the unit and not disturb the property residents.
