Spacious, well-maintained third-floor apartment on Dow Street in the West End of Portland, with hardwood floors, near the Rosemont and Bonobos, walking distance to everything downtown, near bus stop. No pets. No smoking. The rent includes everything: hot water, heat, electric, sewer, Internet, one parking space at lot nearby and partial air conditioning in the summer. The building has a new heating system, dishwasher, small refrigerator and chest freezer (in back hall). Tenants share the back yard, but have a private patio overlooking the West End. We prefer to rent the apartment furnished, with one queen size murphy bed that allows bedroom 1 to serve as a home office during the day, a new bed in second bedroom that is full size, but also slides into two twins, and a relatively new full-size sleeper sofa in living room with pocket doors. All utilities included (heat, cooling, hot water, electric, wifi, sewer), along with Internet, first month's rent and security deposit due Dec. 31st. Rent includes one 24-hour parking pass at a lot one block away. We will require a $500 non-refundable portion of the security deposit in advance to escrow to hold the apartment if you agree to rent.
