This is a beautiful unit on the first floor of a triple-decker home in the artsy, community-oriented neighborhood of Jamaica Plain in Boston, MA. The room is sunny and spacious with hardwood floors, a large closet and two large windows. The kitchen is spacious with lots of storage and the living room has plenty of space for relaxing and entertaining. There is a large back deck and a small side deck, so there is plenty of common space for three people to use without feeling cramped. We have a coin-op washer and dryer in the basement shared by all three units, and modest storage in the basement. We are walking distance to the Forest Hills T stop, and roughly a block away from the 39 bus. Only street parking is available, but a permit is not required. We are in a safe, quiet neighborhood close to downtown Jamaica Plain, the Arnold Arboretum, and Jamaica Pond. Close to the Longwood Medical area also. The rent for this room starts at $1,200 through the sublet to the end of August, but will increase to $1,350 starting September 1. Heat is included in the rent and there is no broker fee - a bargain for an apartment of this size. The utility bills are roughly $40 a month each for electric/gas and $12 each a month for Wi-Fi. I have a pet bunny, so no cats or dogs, please, for the safety of my pet. The landlord requires a strong credit rating and references from previous landlords.
