(I LOVE this house, fenced yard, neighbors, and ESPECIALLY the location. Unfortunately, I needed to move into Raleigh to be near my children's school, so bear with me as I tell you what's so great about this home.)

The 2 car garage has very large, very sturdy plywood shelving built in that address a lot of storage needs. And there is extra ample parking on the driveway in front of the garage for an additional 3 vehicles as well.
The neighborhood is part of a community association that includes a pool, playground, and regular active scheduled community events like Food Truck Fridays.
The location of this house cannot be beat! It is at the end of a long cul-de-sac, so traffic is not an issue. (We can vouch as my kids grew up riding their bikes and playing in the street.) It's a special street with neighbors who are like extended family, who come out of their homes and into the cul-de sac to visit, who gather for potlucks on holidays, and who really care and watch out for one another.
The property is smack in the middle of the town of Holly Springs. Holly Springs is located just a few miles from Raleigh, Durham, and Cary. It is ideally located for those working in or around the Research Triangle Park area. Holly Springs was ranked 34th in the Best Places to Raise Kids in the US list by Businessweek, and first in North Carolina on the same list.
This property borders Womble Park and has its own direct path to the park along the fence line. For those unfamiliar with the town, Womble Park offers artificial turf fields, baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, a fishing pond, walking paths, picnic shelters, playgrounds and more. Across from Womble Park is the town's recreation center with exercise classes, a basketball gym, a fitness center, and an indoor walking track.
Walking or biking distance within a mile and a half, there are a ton of conveniences such as Wal-Mart, Harris Teeter groceries, Lowes Foods, Sugg Farm, and Bass Lake park, downtown Holly Springs, Holly Springs Community Center, Holly Springs Library, and 2 elementary schools and 1 middle school. Everything from large convenience retailers to quaint and charming mom-and-pop places to public spaces with offerings for everyone.
Holly Springs and neighboring areas have grown tremendously. Trust me, all locations do not provide equal quality of life. If you need to go somewhere for work everyday, you want to witness the traffic during rush hours for yourself. Weekend traffic is NOT the same.
