    Home is empty and I can show by appointment! This has been my family home for 25 years. Now that my boys have grown and are off to college I have moved and hope to find folks who will enjoy the home as much as we have. Recently paint inside and out. There is also two garden sheds: one of them two-story with play house on top (monkey bar entrance). Two off street parking spaces in driveway. I ran my design firm from the 200 ft sq separate detached office and it is suitable for painter, designer, CMT or acupuncture, therapist, accountant, lawyer, etc. This room cannot be used as a bedroom (no sink or toilet). It has plenty of built-in storage and two large skylights. Carpeted. House and office are both alarmed. Four blocks to NBerkeley BART, 15 minute walk to DT and Cal, or 4th Street. Three blocks to Target; TJs is walking distance, New Berkeley Bowl and weekly Farmer's Market close too. Easy access to 880, 580, 24, and Bay and SR/Richmond bridges. Several parks, coffee houses, bakeries, and excellent restaurants within 5 blocks, yet the house feels like you are in the country. Quiet one-block cul-de-sac, off of another cul-de-sac, so there is little traffic other than neighbors. Street is outside the 'UC parking donut' so guests do not need a permit for street parking. If you have school-aged children, home is in the Berkeley Unified School District central district: Berkeley High, King Middle, and choice of several elementary schools. Close to Ecole Bilingue, a few blocks from Berkeley Montessori and NIa House preschool. One year lease with option to renew. Pets are negotiable. I pay garbage and recycling pick-up, you pay PG&E, EBMUD, cable, phone, and maintain your garden and patio area. No smoking/vaping on property. As per Berkeley ordinance, interest on your deposit is returned once per year.
