The 1769 Creighton-Jones (or Cummins-Stockley) house is listed on the Historic American Buildings Survey. An early owner was James Jones, who served in both the 4th and 6th Pennsylvania Regiments of Washington's Army and used the first floor of the house as a doctor's office after the Revolutionary war, according to local lore. The exterior has had much restoration done, including the roof, cornice, window trim, and the Flemish Bond brickwork. The owner, however, has had interior woodwork preserved and some of it is re-created, but was not able to find time to install the trim. Still remaining are the panelled fireplace surrounds and the butterfly shelves in the parlor cupboards. A 1790 brick kitchen addition was altered by a past owner. The seller planned to remove the roof and make it a walled garden with fireplace. There is no kitchen or baths. A frame addition behind the parlor could be removed and a kitchen built with a 2nd floor above for a bathroom and closet space.
