This beautiful two bedroom home is located at the western edge of Lawton, "in the country", yet 5 minutes from town and 10 minutes from Fort Sill. The setting is rural and the house is at the end of a long, tree lined gravel driveway, 800 feet from 82nd Street. A heavily wooded creek winds the full length of the property. Two houses sit in the trees just north of the Gore Blvd. intersection. (See it on Google Maps) Vegetation abounds in all directions. Small wildlife, such as rabbit, armadillo, possum, squirrel, a variety of birds, and occasional deer, bobcat, and coyote are visitors. This is the most appealing home site in all of Lawton. 1) Interior Condition: Excellent! It was vacated on July 15, 2022, and left in excellent condition. It is clean and very nice. Most renters have been junior officers, (01,02,&03) and all have appreciated this beautiful and secluded home. 2) Size and Layout: There are 1200 square feet of heated living space with two large bed rooms, each with a walk-in closet. There is an open living and kitchen area, with a small, convenient laundry room near the kitchen. The restroom is standard, with exhaust fan, and ceiling heater. 3) Additional Space: The unheated additional area consists of a roomy, attached, two car garage with a storage area and garage door opener. In the kitchen, a stairway door leads to the second, plywood finished, storage floor. This large, unheated second floor stretches the full length of the house and is ideal for storage. The back patio is 10 by 30 feet, and is covered, making it ideal for outside activity. 4) Appliances: The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, disposal, and dishwasher. There is a ceiling fan, cable outlet, and telephone outlet in the front room and both bedrooms. The smoke and CO alarms are in the hall. The central heat/air and water heater are conventional with heat supplied by propane. (Dryer hook up and cook stove are electric) 5) Outside: There is a large yard on all four sides with a flower garden in front. The entire property contains 15 acres and is available as a "common" area. You are also welcome to walk north into Wyatt Acres or south into the "wild lands". There is a walking trail the full length of the creek on both sides and an evening walk in good weather is an exceptional experience to be anticipated daily. A small clearing in the trees is used for an evening campfire. 6) Services and Utilities: Your water, trash, and sewer are all provided. I will mow your lawn when I mow, if you wish. Edging and trimming is your responsibility. You provide the remaining utilities and propane. (Phone, electric, cable, computer, TV, etc.) 7) Maintenance: Upkeep and repair is right next door with a fully equipped maintenance shop. Response is fast and efficient.
