Built in 1937, the Upper Village at Eagle Nest was designed by notable Great Camp architect William Distin. Situated along 765 ft. of pristine Eagle Lake, this historic site offers a magnificent Adirondack log style lodge, guest house, two story boathouse with large studio/meeting hall, tennis court, lean-to and outbuildings. Constructed of natural log and stone, the main lodge displays the rustic elegance of the traditional Adirondack architecture, including a great room, dramatic log staircase, a birch bark lined dining room and speakeasy bar. Each of 22 bedrooms is uniquely designed, most with en-suite bathrooms and individually crafted fireplaces, with mantles of ancient logs and stones from the area. Ownership grants access to superintendent services and the use of 1600+ private acres and trails that extend from Blue Mt. Lake to Utowana Lake.
