A petite screened-in porch is off of the living room. One of the bedrooms upstairs was once a sleeping porch. It has since been enclosed and is heated and cooled and has windows but due to its original purpose and construction, does not have a closet. Both bathrooms were completely rebuilt and include modern fixtures and lighting. With the exception of the bathrooms which are tiled, the whole house boasts its original wood floors. According to the owner, the house was re-wired, re-plumbed, and in 2013, new insulation and a new HVAC system were installed. With all of these updates, the owner was still able to restore the house accurately and obtain a historical designation through the National Park Service and the Chickasaw Historic Preservation Commission.
