This is a very nice, CLEAN, quiet and spacious 2nd floor apartment in a classic, two-flat house in the popular Atwood 'hood. It's a one-bedroom but is larger than many 2-bedrooms in this area--very open feeling with lots of windows all around. In fact, with its extra room, it is more like a 1.5 bedroom! (Extra Room: Yoga nook? Study? Storage? Anyway, lots of extra space.) Fully furnished. Furnishings are basic but comfortable: A full-sized bed (a firm & comfy natural latex memory foam mattress--a Saatva ), dresser, living room sofa & two stuffed chairs, solid wood dining room table & chairs, in-unit washing machine (New, top rated LG, EnergyStar) and, of course, stove & fridge (EnergyStar). Kitchenware, tableware, linens, bedsheets and towels provided. Really, all you'll need is your suitcase! This would be perfect for someone here on a temporary assignment, short term research gig/sabbatical/locum tenens/travel nurse, etc. Longer term ok, too. -Though the house is old, it has been very well-maintained with many upgrades. A note on the property: It is old. 1927 Olde. The neighborhood is old. Everything & everyone you might find in a mixed-use/mixed income neighborhood is here. It is not the suburbs.
