The Hunt Box is located 5 miles Northwest of Middleburg in an area of large farms. It is a very tranquil setting on a quiet gravel road just mile off of paved Lime Kiln Road. The home is furnished with antiques and vintage pieces, especially depicting traditional foxhunt scenes. The home is available for rent by the month at $3,500. All utilities and ground maintenance are included as well as Direct TV service and WIFI. The main floor has the greatroom/dining room with a stunning wood-burning stone fireplace and beautiful wood floors made from barnwood, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room. There is a cozy first-floor den/bedroom with a full bath, TV and walk in closet. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. The main bedroom has a king bed, TV, sitting/reading area and a walk-in closet. There is a dresser and dressing table, plus a display cabinet with family memorabilia. The second bedroom on the upper level has an antique double bed, reading chair and closet. There is a shared bath on the upper level with two sinks and a tub/shower. All linens are provided. There are two patios for the use of our guests, one facing East and one on the West side, both with furniture for dining as well as seating. There is also a covered porch with an old-fashioned porch swing. The surroundings of the house are pastoral, with a rolling pasture leading to the barn with views to the West and North. The rear of the house faces South to a wooded view with peeks at the Bull Run Mountains. A gas BBQ is provided on the upper patio as is a wood-burning firepit. We provide firewood for the firepit and the stone fireplace. For rentals less than 90 days, we have to charge Virginia sales tax of 6%.
