I am looking for someone to fill my room (females only) in a 3BR/2BA rowhouse in the heart of Eastern Market. The home is located on 8th St. SE and Independence Ave, 1 block away (or less than 5 min walk) from the Eastern Market Metro (orange/blue/silver lines) and several bus lines (90 and 92) are steps outside the front door. Additionally, Trader Joe's is a block away along with lots of stores, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and of course the famous Eastern Market that takes place every weekend. The master bedroom has tons of natural sunlight, plenty of room for an office space to work from home, hardwood floors, and available for rent beginning on May 15. The house includes a recently renovated kitchen, a shared bathroom, washer/dryer, plenty of storage and two small outside patios in the front and back of the house. The 3 other tenants are women in their mid-20s who are laid back professionals with busy schedules who come in and out of D.C. for work purposes. There are currently no pets living in the house. Rent for the room is $1250/mo. + $1000 deposit that will be returned upon departure if there are no damages to the property. The utilities (water/internet/gas/electric) are included with basic house supplies (i.e. toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc.) You will have to sign a lease, but it's month to month with an obligation to fill your space when you leave. All rooms except the bedroom are furnished. Looking for someone clean and friendly to move in on/after May 15 for a prorated amount. Great location for anyone working on the Hill.
