The original cabin was built in 1961. The original cabin houses the kitchen, living area, and full bathroom. It is very cozy and warm. It features a propane fireplace and mini-split system. The large bedroom addition was built in 1980's. The breezeway features a mini-split system as well as a smart TV and dining space or great area for games. The bedroom wing features a large bedroom upstairs with gorgeous views of Spearfish Canyon and Spearfish Creek. The lower level bedroom is spacious and comfortable. This is where the washer and dryer is located. There is a mini-split system in both bedrooms for comfort in both cold and warm weather. The large front deck offers amazing views and opportunities to see the motorcycles cruising the canyon during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally or the classic cars during Kool Deadwood Nites. If you prefer more seclusion and quiet, the enormous back deck offers lots of space for grilling, visiting and just relaxing. The detached garage features a level 2 Electric Vehicle charger (installed in 2023) and a large bunkroom with two queen size beds and a pull-out sectional sofa. There is a mini-fridge and small microwave as well as table and stools. Note that there is currently no plumbing in the garage bunkroom.
