I'm a tenant helping the Landlord find a new tenant. I'm currently renting a studio size cottage/separate detached unit in the backyard of a 3bed-2bath house in east San Jose for $1200 a month and moving out to another place right now. Rent includes all utilities. Has a porch. Lemon tree next to the unit. Pomegranate tree in the back. Comes with mini fridge with mini freezer. Air conditioner unit. Closet. Twin mattress. Microwave. Bathroom includes toilet, sink, shower, ventilation exhaust, ceiling lights, bedroom has vinyl flooring, bathroom flooring is all tiles. Ceiling lights in both bathroom and bedroom. The walls has some paint tear due to previous tenant removing adhesive hooks. Washing machine only, there's no dryer btw, so it's probably better to go to the laundromat, or just wash here and dry at the laundromat or hang dry your clothes. Everyone here parks on the street including the owner. Pets are okay, I have 2 dogs that get along great with the owners 3 dogs. Also, I think couples are okay because it seems like there's a couple in one of the rooms in the main house, but that's just my assumption. Please excuse the photos, I took them the first day I moved in I was rushing and didn't have time to clean/sanitize til the week after. Month to month. No contract. No background check. Just show proof of employment and who can vouch for you.
