Our modern, charming and recently renovated cottage is for rent. It sits on a hill in the trees at the base of Tantalus. It is on our property and stands alone behind the main house. Electricity, water, cable and wi-fi included. In the cottage is a full sized bed, pull out sofa, flat screen and small table for two with chairs. There is a washer/dryer in the unit as well as air conditioning. There is a hot plate, microwave and large toaster oven. There is no built in stove/oven. There is lots of storage as the cottage has its own attic. There is ample street parking. Our house sits on a hill where Makiki Street dead ends at the base of Tantalus and there are 50 steps from the street up to the main house and a few more to the cottage. The location is quiet but very centrally located and a short drive from the freeway, downtown, University of Hawaii, Ala Moana or Waikiki. Please no smokers or pets.
