Tenant Maintenance Responsibilities: The Tenant agrees to keep the Property in clean, safe, and sanitary condition and to promptly notify the Landlord of any damage, malfunction, or needed repair. The Tenant is responsible for the following maintenance obligations: Routine Cleaning: Keeping all interior areas clean, including floors, appliances, bathrooms, and windows. Minor Repairs: Replacing light bulbs, smoke detector batteries, and air filters, and unclogging drains and toilets (unless due to structural or plumbing defects). Yard Maintenance: e.g., mowing the lawn and general upkeep of outdoor areas. Trash Disposal: Regular removal of trash and recycling in accordance with local guidelines.
