Old lumber mill solid wood construction home with clear fir strip flooring in most rooms, new roof in 2021, partial bathroom remodel in 2021 (kept the old tub), actually two full size bedrooms and a smaller nursery sized bedroom, screened in main porch, detached one car garage used as storage, on two and a half lots, end of street quiet location on hillside above town, easy walk downhill to local school, main part of town and for fishing in the Klickitat River nearby; out of the flood plain and the sun comes through my living room windows at 10:45am on Dec. 21st, so I have great light values and lots of windows in this home. Will be working on more remodeling and painting projects this year and next (2022-23) and also landscaping. WIFI internet service through phone jack with Centurylink. Other options are available (cable, satellite). Adjacent to 8+ acres of native oak forest undeveloped, so a peaceful setting. Good neighbors too. 35 minutes from Hood River or The Dalles or Goldendale, very centrally located for an out of the way place to live. No cell service without wifi here in the canyon, but that's part of the stress reduction nature of this place. Laundry room has washer/dryer hookup. New water heater installed in 2021. It's a work in progress.
