The Textile Building in downtown Cincinnati has a rich history dating back to its construction in 1906. Originally developed as part of a city initiative to centralize the city's dispersed garment and textile industries, the building was purpose-built to support Cincinnati's growing manufacturing sector. Designed by local architect Gustav W. Drach, it is a striking example of Commercial and Renaissance Revival architecture, standing 12 stories tall and spanning over 213,000 square feet.
