Sunset Village is a friendly, 55+ community. We offer affordable living in West Sedona, with 32 acres between Sunset Dr.& Shelby Dr., just off Hwy.89A. This central location has a Safeway, Bashas, Whole Foods, and Natural Grocery stores, Walgreens, several banks, a post office sub-station, a park, hiking trails, and 2 movie theatres all within walking distance. Sedona offers the incredible scenery of the "Red Rock Country", the art community, the annual Film Festival and the spiritual ambiance which attracts visitors from around the world. The elevation of 4500' provides brief winters and moderate summers. Emergency medical facilities are available just two miles away, with hospitals in nearby Cottonwood and Flagstaff. The Sedona Community Center provides lunches, Meals on Wheels and transportation services. Also in West Sedona is the public library, a branch of Yavapai College (with an Ollie Program) and numerous restaurants. Churches of many faiths are represented in Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek. We are a privately owned community, we allow one small dog 20 Lbs. or less, and two indoor cats. We do not allow renting or sub-renting in our community. We love knowing who are neighbors are!
