The chefs in your group will be overjoyed by the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with two sinks, two dishwashers, a double oven, five-top gas stove, and endless appliances and tools for your use. The family style dining table seats 16 people, perfect to invite any new friends for dinner. All four bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled with granite, and with two infinity water heaters, you will never run out of hot water! With 3600 sq/ft and five bedrooms, plus a bonus room, game room, and loft, there is space for any sized group. Two bedrooms boast comfortable king beds, a queen is in the third, and the fourth has two twins that can be converted to a king. The fifth room is attatched to the bonus room, with three twin bunk beds total, ideal for all the little ones. A summer vacation at Serene Cove will have you longing for more. With a private dock and engulfing water, you will be able to gaze out at the islands and wave at fellow canoes passing by peacefully. Go for an early morning paddle board around the lake or sit on the deck with a warm cup of coffee to watch the sun rise. The Tahoe National Forest is a short walk from the house, where you’ll discover endless hiking and mountain biking trails such as Crow’s Nest Peak. Nearby, picturesque Old Hwy 40 is the perfect spot for spectacular road biking, rock climbing, or to access the world famous Pacific Crest Trail. Truckee’s historic downtown will provide hours of shopping when not out exploring and it’s only a 15 minute drive away! When you are ready to hit the slopes, there are many incredible ski resorts within minutes of the house. Soda Springs Mountain Resort is so close that you can go home for lunch and be back on the hill in no time. Royal Gorge, the largest cross country ski resort in North America, is just a few blocks away, or put on your cross country skis at the front door and have a midnight ski around the frozen lakes. Of course, there’s also Sugar Bowl, the jewel in our crown, a few minute drive from Serene Lakes, where you can experience all that the big mountain has to offer!
