Main/family room 11'x13', new walls/insulation, new oak hardwood floor, custom reclaimed and rough wood shelves Kitchen 8'x10' w/pantry, roughed in but has a sink, tiled backsplash, a few reclaimed shelves. New sub floor. Ready for flooring (I have it) and cabinets etc. Started a small bathroom for later development of the property. There is a small off-grid water system for washing dishes and the occasional shower. Water tank is very small, and doesn't freeze if there is a heater near it. Yes there is very basic electricity and a wood stove. It's been a cozy temp even when the fire went out with around 30 degree temps outside. And with only one radiant heater going and no plastic on the windows yet. The loft/attic spans the entire house. I have all the insulation to start really making the house efficient but I'm unfortunately forced to sell and out of time. I believe its roomy enough to eventually create another bedroom, skylighted office or even indoor veggie garden... The yard is fairly large, roughly 8300 square ft. And it is partially fenced. Now the deal breaker for those that want all of the conveniences in place. There is NO toilet or septic, yet. With that said, we are selling AS IS dry cabin. I'm going to miss this place so much I may come up and help you with some of the finish work it needs. Planned on this cozy little cabin being my "home base" while we traveled. It is close to stores, entertainment, hunting, fishing, the slopes and the front range. It's hard to believe this place has the peace and lack of pollution being so close to Denver. With all of this said I believe the house will attract the right person(s) as it did with me 7 years ago. You will have to be an active person(s) to fully enjoy this lifestyle. Or have the money to pay for wood, snow plowing etc... This house saved my life, so I returned the favor. So if you are looking for a party house near the casinos please don't bother contacting me.
