The area is very safe, there has never been any robberies or crimes in the area for the entire 15 years we've lived here. It's the type of area where you can still leave your doors unlocked when you take a trip to the store and your neighbors watch out for your property when you are gone on vacation. Shopping is convenient, WalMart is a five minute drive and a major mall is a 15 minute drive.
