This neighborhood borders the northern edge of the Cave Creek Wash which has a park with basket ball, sand volleyball courts, swings and plenty of open space for soccer and football and the best part is the bike/running trail that intersects the Arizona Central Project Canal three miles south. This is such a great trail for anyone who loves biking and running since the trail goes underneath the streets. Access to Shaw Butte and the Phoenix Mountain Preserves is a short ride on a bike away or trail head parking is only a mile or two drive. This neighborhood is really quiet. I-17 is only 3 minutes by car on sunday morning and I-51 is less than 10 minutes at the same time. We have our guests call us from Sky Harbor Airport when their plane lands at which time we leave to pick them up: the timeing is almost perfect. We shop at sunflower market or sprouts, drive times are under 7 minutes either way.
