    What's special

The home is being offered for sale As-Is. This is a wonderful Old style Stone structure built in 1928 by a prominent member of the Imboden community. The floors and all woodwork are white oak and original to the home. Newer thermal pane windows. It does need some updating. The home sits on a rectangular parcel of ground that is about 5 acres more or less. There is a Morgan oversized 2 car garage with 8ft overhead doors. There is a well house with the well still there although it hasnt been used in years. There is a creek at the back of the property and was used for watering a large garden close by. Would make a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, Dr.s office, Real Estate office or fine old home for someone with lots of patience and time to restore it. The roof is a permanent type of asbestos shingle and we have an estimate to repair it and replace the gutters. The home is currently heated with a wood furnace that keeps it nice and toasty warm. It could be fitted with a gas forced air, water furnace or a geo thermal green energy furnace. It does have a central air handler. We are Out of State owners and would entertain your offer on this great old home! The house is currently occupied so please contact me to make arrangements to see the home first. Neighborhood Description Imboden is a town of about 650 people. It lays on the banks of the Spring River which is a beautiful spring fed river that runs from Mammoth Spring above Hardy Ark, and empties into the Black River at Black Rock Arkansas. Its a Short, but cold and clean Ozark River that is great for floating, canoeing and has plenty of Catfish, Bass, Bluegill, Crappie and Northern Pike, Sturgeon and other species. Its a farm community with pasture land, woods, clean streams and good people.
