Please note that the rooms are unfurnished! The pictures posted are from Zillow and REIN. Sure, you'll first need to pass a background, credit and reference check and pay 1-month deposit. This is for your peace of mind and comfort that fellow housemates have also successfully passed these same checks. Also, your income (or co-signer's income) will at least need to be 3x the rent. It's $800 for one of the downstairs rooms and $750 for the upstairs rooms (utilities inclusive). A one-on-one over coffee with the homeowner before final move-in will ascertain that we all treasure similar baseline values. Christ is in this place! Expect regular eat-outs or eat-ins like wings & the Word, Pizza praise time, and Sundays after church - a reservation at the nearby i-Hop for joyful connect. Make your time at Hampton Roads unforgettable! 1. Thank you for considering our Honor Hangout! We honor God, each other and our environment around us. We look forward to welcoming you home. 2. The 4 upstairs bedrooms are each $750 a month and the 2 downstairs bedrooms are each $800. Deposit is equal to one months rent irrespective of whether upstairs or downstairs. Rent is due on the 1st of the month, and any delay past the 5th is considered late payment. A 10% late surcharge will be added to the rent payment. 3. Pet fees is as follows: Deposit $50 and monthly rent $50. One pet only per roommate kindly. Relevant paperwork (shots, ESA, picture) must be presented prior to proceeding with application. Pet must be house-broken & not be rowdy so as not to interfere with the honoring environment in the home. 4. Background, reference, credit and income checks shall be cleared prior to on-boarding as a roommate. Zillow charges $35 non-refundable fees for these checks. References shall be contacted! 5. A one-on-one coffee date with owner shall be conducted as part of vetting. 6. Full deposit and first month rent shall be paid prior to move-in. 7. No couple roommates please. Guests allowed, but please be mindful of fellow roommates while enjoying with visitors. Kindly guest hours are from 10 am to 10 pm. Guests should be in the home only when the sponsoring roommate is home as well. No guest animals. 8. No overnight guests except for spouses. Maximum 2 nights in a month. 9. NO alcohol use, NO smoking/vaping & NO drug activity allowed on premises. 10. Lease term is 12 months. Exceptions are strictly on a case by case basis. 11. Notice for renewal/non-renewal is one month before the lease is up. Failure to do so will mean forfeiture of deposit. 12. Once roommate completes their stay, a walk-through inspection shall be conducted. Any repairs/cleaning/miscellaneous expenses shall be deducted from the deposit, and the remainder shall be remitted to roommate two weeks after final move-out. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING - HOUSEHOLD INFO: This is also the area to include your guarantor's details (if applicable). Kindly indicate in brackets next to your guarantor's name that he or she is a guarantor. Please inform your guarantor that he or she will undergo a background check just as you are going through. - RESIDENCE INFO: In this area include details of your current residence. Please put the details of YOUR 2 REFERENCES under the section labelled "add past home". Remember that your current landlord and your 2 listed references shall be contacted, so please let them know to expect some communication regarding your application.
