Brand new, fully furnished apartment in our newly renovated farmhouse on 1.25 acres. The apartment is 700 square feet with one bedroom, a king-sized bed, keyless entry, washer and dryer, fire pit, queen pullout couch, twin daybed, and an 8-minute drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Maine. All utilities are included, appliances are unused, and two dedicated parking spaces. It is a 7-minute drive from Saco's Amtrak station and an 8-minute drive to the interstate. The grocery store is 2 miles away, and there are several fantastic restaurants and breweries within an 8-minute drive. The University of New England is also only a 6-minute drive. Summary of lease terms (complete lease provided at signing): The owner pays heat, hot water, water, sewer, electricity, air conditioning, and wifi. Smoking is permitted outside, 15 feet from the backdoor. Landscaping and snow removal is the responsibility of the landlords. One pet dog is allowed no more than 30 pounds. There will be a $300 non-refundable animal deposit. Above and beyond this, the tenant is responsible for all damage that any pet causes, regardless of the ownership of the said pet, and agrees to restore the Premises to its original condition at their expense. There are two dedicated parking spaces, and no fee is required. At the signing, the first month and security deposit is required. Early termination of the lease requires a 60-day written notice, and there will be a $2800 early termination fee on top of continued payment of the rent. In addition, there is a $50 fee for NSF checks, a $50 late fee if rent is more than five days late, and $20 a day after that.
