Starter toiletries and nice-quality bed and bath linens are provided. There is an exercise bike upstairs as well as wooden shutters for the windows. There is a balcony just feet from the bedroom upstairs, and you would also have access to the downstairs patio. Shared entry, shared kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove, and shared washer and dryer. This is a no-smoking, no-pet/animal, no-drugs, quiet home with an alarm system for occupancy by one tenant in addition to the owner who lives and works in the home. No overnight guests. Upstairs has Netflix & Amazon Prime Video; downstairs TV has an additional broad range of channels. There is also a monthly professional housekeeping service (though the downstairs is cleaned every two weeks and for now--so is the upstairs!). No strong scents, incense, candles, or animals due to allergies. The owner's homeowner's insurance company does require that tenants have renter's insurance with $300K liability as with many insurance companies, and that insurance is quite inexpensive--and the owner will help provide that resource if the tenant does not already have this. I do work in the home during the day so it's a quiet house with some limited sounds during the day while I am working/living in the home--so someone working day shift as with a travel nurse or construction engineer may be an optimum fit.
The upstairs room and private bath shares the entrance, kitchen, laundry, dining area, and family room. The preferred rental period is 6 months, and there is a one-time cleaning fee of $150, a background-check fee of $40, and a $200 deposit. The homeowner's insurance requires that the tenant procure and maintain renter's insurance during the full stay, which will include $300,000 of liability coverage providing proof of insurance before moving in. The room is for a single individual, not couples, and no guests. Utilities are included in the rent, including housekeeping twice a month though the renter is responsible for their own laundry and keeping the kitchen as spotless as possible. New mini fridge/freezer just added to bedroom!
