Public transit within a block and walkable to many attractions, including the waterfront, interurban/Chuckanut trails system, restaurants, bakeries, shops, Amtrak station and Alaska ferry terminal. Fairhaven is 1/2 mile down the road. WWU is 3/4 mile away. The home is partially furnished (blinds/ window covers, a futon with mattress, area rugs, a wood block kitchen table with 2 chairs, a dresser, a lounge chair, and a queen-size wood storage bed in the upstairs bedroom (no mattress). We prefer to keep these things in the house, but certain items may be negotiable. The landlord pays water/ sewer (normal usage). Inclusion of Xfinity high-speed internet is negotiable. The tenant is responsible for all other utilities. The landlord is responsible for yard care, but a trade could be arranged (i.e. if the tenant would like to do basic yard maintenance such as mowing/weeding, and selective watering, a decrease in monthly rent may be negotiated). No smoking or vaping allowed on the property. No pets. There is uncovered off-street parking for 2 standard-size vehicles. Lease duration is 12 months with the option of monthly leasing after that. A deposit of $2750 plus the first months rent (or pro-rated) is due upon signing the lease. A detailed WA State lease agreement will be provided.
