Historic (c. 1915) 900 sq. foot 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment, consisting of the entire second floor of a house up on Castle Rock. Painted wood floors throughout and we just finished painting all interior walls. Mostly all new double pane windows. Large antique (Keefe & Merritt) gas stove in the kitchen and the original metal cabinets. Bathroom Is Jack & Jill with an XL (6 ft) clawfoot tub. Each bedroom has a large closet and either could be used as an office. Gas heat (new unit in living room as well as a gas insert in fireplace). Currenty no AC but a window AC unit is available. Outdoor areas include front stoop, back deck and back patio. The laundry/garden/storage room is located off back patio. The house was built 100 years ago and has been well taken care of, but it is an old Bisbee house, so its not totally perfect. The house is at the very top of staircase #3 of the Bisbee 1000 (181 steps up from Tombstone Canyon), so its pretty typical to see stair-climbers huffing and puffing. If you have a car, there is parking up here, but please know that the drive up to Castle Rock is a bit of an adventure, taking you up a very narrow brick road, one of the few original roads in Old Bisbee. We drive a full size pick-up up here no problem, but its tight! Deck needs a few repairs which may not be complete by Feb 1st, but will be complete before spring. We (landlord and landlady) live part-time in the apartment on the first floor of the house so we are looking for someone not terribly noisy or stompy. We are looking for a tenant who loves Old Bisbee and wants to be a part-time or full-time member of our little neighborhood up here. We have great neighbors!
