This home has been used as a vacation rental for 20 years. It has only been used for 6 months of the year and the interior condition reflects the great care that it has received from the owners over all those years. The following description was part of our advertising: Maine is called 'Vacationland'--Mt. Desert Island, home of Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park, is an incredibly beautiful place where people come to relax, to play and to appreciate all that nature has to offer. 'Spruce Lodge at Hadley Point' has been designed so that you and your family can stay in a wonderful and comfortable environment while you explore and experience all the beauty that surrounds you! Our charming 3-level home has a bright, open floor plan where the living room, dining area & kitchen share one big space on the main level. Just down the hall is a lovely bedroom, full bath and laundry room. Upstairs is a private loft with a balcony and large separate bedroom. Downstairs there is the family room with game table, beverage refrigerator and a really CUTE bedroom that we call 'The Rose Room' and another spacious full bath. Spruce green (of course) is our theme color & it accents 'miles' of natural pine, fun wallpapers & clean painted walls!
