Seeking co-housing situation in my beloved "Eichler," a mid-century modern house built by the iconic California developer in the Lucas Valley area of San Rafael. With exquisitely renovated architecture, and streaming sunlight, the home is on one level and features an indoor/outdoor flow and warm, inviting, comfortable furnishings The backyard, with a view of rolling California hills is great for hanging out and outdoor dining. Ideally located just 30- 40 minutes from San Francisco, 1 hour to Napa, 30 minutes to beaches. Fantastic hiking and biking right outside the front door with a lovely community pool and tennis courts within walking distance. Feels remote, even though just 2 miles from 101. I am looking for a special tenant to co-share my lovely home in some type of innovative arrangement. I am open to stays of at least a month in duration, preferably longer. I am a 65 year old single woman with a quiet lifestyle. I spend a lot of time in the primary suite so there is opportunities for privacy for all parties. I have two older, very sweet dogs. I will be spending more time in LA now with my new grandchild, and want to offset my rental costs there with a co-housing arrangement in Marin. The ideal tenant (single ideally or would consider a couple) would enjoy having a "Marin-getaway" from a primary home in SF, or perhaps be a frequent traveler looking for a lovely home base in the Bay Area. The tenant would have their own private bedroom and bathroom with an optional separate entrance. There is a third bedroom available on a negotiable basis. Full use of the house is welcome including the kitchen and outdoor space. There is an extra parking space in the driveway, and some room for storage in the garage. All utilities including housekeeping, fast internet, Hulu Live and other streaming platforms included. I'll be looking for the right chemistry with a tenant and a shared vibe about lifestyle. I am a warm, welcoming person, and like my home to reflect that energy. But I also treasure the peace and tranquility the home offers.
