We are an easy 10 minute walk to the main area of downtown, a 12 minute drive to the Biltmore Estate, a 15 minute drive north for the Blue Ridge Parkway and Folk Art Center, a 15 minute drive to the NC Arboretum (Discount Shoes is on the way) and the BRP headed South to Mt Pisgah, a 10 minute drive to the River Arts District, a 5 minute drive to the breweries of the South Slope and 22 minute drive to the Asheville Regional airport. Put your feet up for a spell and enjoy watching the fireflies from the private patio which looks out at Town Mountain . This fresh and stylish space features an open-concept living area. The newly renovated bathroom features a marble-top vanity and a medicine cabinet mirror for extra storage. The utility closet is perfect for storing your luggage (up high) and has several shelves for additional storage of personal items or clothing. We provide guests with a portable vacuum, broom, step stool and starter cleaning supplies. The cozy queen-sized bedroom has an open closet with lots of hangers, and a dresser. The two bedroom windows have the privacy of being "in the trees" as well as pull down shades. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. The lease comes with one parking spot in the driveway and many guests also have enjoyed the free street parking (ourselves included) which sometimes can be more convenient than backing out of the main driveway. When pulling into the driveway, the parking spot for guests is on the far left of the property (closest to the cottage). The Guesthoue has its own small patio with an outdoor table for two that looks over a large private backyard. Sunrise Cottage is a completely separate building from our main house and thus completely private. Other things to note We are a family of 4. We have two small children and an older dog we do play outside in the backyard every day. We are not overly noisy but always want guests to be aware of the fact that there may be children in the backyard. We are currently refurnishing so furnishings will be different than pictured but expect style to be similar and elevated! Will consider pets dependent on breed and size. Owner will pay for monthly cleaner using non-toxic cleaning products. Owner will cover all utility and sanitation costs. Wifi is included.
