We designed and built this house in 2005, We sourced the lumber and fittings in Canada. The quality of the materials is excellent. house is clad in cedar. The floors are wide plank fir. The main floor is set up around a central stairwell. it is very open. There are 4 sets of french doors each with transoms to let in more light. The creek is 40' from the back door. The creek runs along the whole south side of the 1.7 acres. Since we built the zoning has changed so that no homes will ever be built across the creek. The bedrooms are upstairs. Two small bedrooms overlook the creek and share a bath. The master is oversized with very high vaulted ceilings. The master closet is about 500sq ft. The master bath has a skylight and a custom window over the tub shower. Bathrooms upstairs have heated tile floors. There is a small barn 25x25' with 14' sidewalls clad in cedar shakes with a metal roof. It is wired and has plumbing roughed in. T
