Beautiful handmade log cabin nicely tucked in the woods overlooking South Fork of Little Barren River. The wood was taken from the family farm using the butt and pass method, the logs were flattened on two sides for the interior and exterior walls, while the truss and beam technique was used to make the rafters. The frame, porch railing, ceiling and flooring were constructed from white pine, red cedar and wild cherry. The log cabin is 864 sq. ft with one bedroom, one bath and a loft sitting on 2 acres. The cabin has a mini split for heat and air and great for those weekend getaways, retirement or starter home. With the seclusion and privacy of the cabin you’ll feel like you’re in the Great Smokey Mountains.
