"We moved into 1951 Wiltshire Road in January 1987. It has been our refuge since that time. Slowly we have redone each room... we removed the carpets to reveal the beautiful floors. Several years ago we gutted the kitchen and recreated it. We created flower beds in the front yard, and about 6 years ago tore out overgrown bushes in the back yard, planted a garden, and built a patio in the back. Our brother-in-law rebuilt the patio next to the house. One of the very special places in our home is the blacktop. In the summer when our family comes home we set up a large table under the trees and it spaciously accommodates all of us. About 5 years ago we had a large tent put in the back yard for a party to celebrate our son's wedding. On lazy summer days we read or take a nap in a hammock hung between the trees. Every evening in the winter we light the gas fireplace in the family room. It provides a cozy, intimate space for us to relax before going to bed. We have wonderful neighbors on both sides and hate to leave them.
