Southerncomfort was built as a summer home and was the summer home of the current owners until Blowing Rock was made their permanent residence. Renovations in the '90s were performed by Boone Construction. The dining/living was expanded in 1998 by George Gilliland and a 1,300 sq foot deck was added including an outdoor wet bar. The home is filled with Blowing Rock charm with two bedrooms with their own ensuite and flex room for overflow guests. The ample size kitchen has a breakfast area with vaulted ceilings. The cozy study/den is just off the large family room. Banner Cabinets built the study and kitchen cabinets as well as installed the trim in the kitchen.
