We've had fun "playing" with this house making it our home; like replacing light fixtures, refinishing the hardwood floors in the bedrooms, updating the bath, opening up door ways for a more open floor plan suitable to our needs, adding an over 100 years old mantle from a historical Columbia,SC home to the already beautiful fireplace, etc. This home has so much character and we love walking through seeing the original touches as well as the updated ones. We love the way the sunlight floods through the windows at certain times of the day, to be enjoyed by not only us but also our house plants!
