You have arrived- as it were! This is a retirement "haven," for those that like to golf and socialize with fabulous people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a lovely east view balcony. There is a closet that most people use for coats and storage but others have it plumbed for a washer and dryer, as it shares the wall with the bathroom. I installed industrial carpet tiles in that area, just in case one were two spill bleach accidentally. The kitchen has brand new Shaker style cabinets, with all brushed nickel handles, and light fixtures throughout the home. The living room, bedrooms, and hallway have a very plush carpet with a twinge of gray to match the stainless steel appliances. They have yet to arrive,- they'll be here in a week. The cabinets are very light gray, and look very nice with the faux marble countertops. The bathroom and the kitchen have beautiful laminate flooring- that I just love. Again it matches that whole gray color palette. Obviously the walls have been painted eggshell white. And I recently put in a "rain" shower head with an additional handheld shower massage. There's a beautiful tin backsplash that matches the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The home was built in 2000, and as I said, the renovation was just completed last week. No one has ever walked on the carpet... Everyone there is so pleasant and so wonderful to be around. They usually get together at least once a month, and all have dinner in the Commons Area. There's also a gas grill that's right off that area as well, where they cook out in the summer... It's situated on a golf course so it's a very beautiful view. Some of the ladies have taken up gardening at Golfview, as there's quite a bit of land- as you might imagine being a golf course... lol Golfview is a 55+ Community. It is also equipped with handicap doorways, showers, and easy access to the garage from the building. The home came with one parking spot however, if a couple moves in, most of the time they rent from someone who goes away in the winter. There are stairs available, but most people take the elevator. Golfview is maintenance free! Everything is included in your H.O.A. fees. Currently I pay $311 a month. The grounds are impeccable. Our maintenance man Jeff, boasts a beautiful yard... And in the winter, we hire snow removal services. We also have a cleaning service that comes weekly. The building also owns a professional carpet shampooer.
