    What's special

Moving out of our apartment to buy a house. We lived here for a year and a half and loved it! Available July 1 How big are the rooms? Don't be fooled by so-called "2 bedrooms" that have no space. In Oak Court the master bedroom is bigger than the bedroom in any house I have lived in. Plenty of room for a King Sized bed, two nightstands, two dressers, and even a crib on top of that. The Living area can fit a desk, a recliner, a corner sectional, and three end tables and have plenty of room. We frequently invite 6-8 friends over and have no problem with space. You get 934 square feet here! Can I fit my clothes in the closet? The closets are as wide as the room here. No worries about getting everything you need inside! Is it warm in the winter? Watch out if you are visiting apartments in the Spring. Many have single-pane glass and don't retain heat. New Windows were installed here last year, and because there is an apartment below, their heat gets shared with you. The apartment can heat up in a matter of minutes- no worries about being cold all winter! Do I get a parking space? Yes, one assigned parking space Do I get a garage? Yes, a garage with an automatic garage-door opener. Is there guest parking? Many apartments in Fargo require visitors to park on the street, which isn't always an option, especially in winter. At Oak Court there are over 20 guest parking spaces- there's always several available. Is there easy access to mail? The postal service delivers to your mailbox in your building, and there's an outgoing slot too. Watch out- many Fargo area apartments require you to get the mail from the office. How easy is it to get around? At Oak court you are right on the interstate. Two right hand turns - never sit at stoplights waiting to get anywhere in Fargo. How is the "atmosphere?" Many Fargo apartments have dimly lit, narrow hallways. Oak court has nice hallways that are well lit, making it an enjoyable place to live. Do I get outside access? In this apartment there is a sliding glass door to your deck. The door (with adjacent glass) provides much more light than a "garden level" apartment, which will often leave you under someone else's deck with little light. Also, "Garden level" apartments are half-underground and more prone to mold. Who pays for water, garbage, sewer, etc.? At Oak court, water, sewer, garbage, and maintenance are paid for by the management company. Do I have to pay more for garbage? In many cases, you will find you get one garbage can you can use, and have to pay more for other things you want to toss out. Not here! There are two large dumpsters, and always room to toss whatever you want. Is it well lit? An apartment without good light access will feel dark and un-homelike. This apartment is on a corner, and so has a window in both bedrooms, and a large glass door with double glass in the living room. You can keep all the lights off during the day and it is still well lit. Is it secured? Some Fargo apartments are not secured. Oak Court has two entryways, each with a buzz-in doorbell system. You can speak and listen to those at the doorway and let them in. Other apartments in Fargo have this system, but those who come to visit have to wait outside while they ring the doorbell. Oak Court has heated entryway foyers that the visitor can enter to warm up while they await being buzzed into the apartment. Beware some of the cheap apartments near K-Mart. My friend lives at one, which is secured, but there is no way to buzz in! It's just locked! So I have to call him on the phone when I get there to just get inside! Is there prompt service? The apartment management has full-time maintenance workers. Since living here, we have needed a closet door fixed, got it done in one day, our oven element went out, got it done in one day, needed garage drywall fixed, done in one day. Very prompt service! Is there on-site laundry? Yes! On each floor. trash, sewer, water all paid by apartment. 600 credit sco
