This cottage is by our small organic farm; thus we seek tenants who are responsible (aka: mature); trustworthy, very quiet and who appreciate the country life. This is not urban living. We are five miles from downtown Carrboro; eight miles from UNC-Chapel Hill; ten miles from Hillsborough and seven miles from I40, but we are off the beaten track. The cottage and surrounding area offers a great way to de-stress and reconnect with Nature. We offer either extended stay (minimum three months) for those in transition who need a place to stay temporarily. We also offer short term rental (monthly). Our Barnhouse cottage (1100 sf) comes fully furnished and fully equipped to provide you with a home away from home. The cottage has two bedrooms: upstairs has queen-sized bed, a large bath, and a great deck to view amazing sunsets. Open kitchen and spacious living/dining area. The downstairs room is very spacious with outside entrance only. It has been used as second bedroom, office, exercise room and studio. Central HVAC. WD on premises. The cottage has lots of charm and a very comfortable feel. Maximum three people. No smokers inside or out. Small pet may be considered (pet fee). Extended stay rate: $1300 + utilities (power and internet). Water and septic included. A month's deposit required. Two credit references required. MONTHLY rate: $1500 + utilities. Deposit required. All you need to move in are your clothes, linens and food. Available Now until August 1 (possible option to renew) Owner pays for water/septic. Tenants pay for utilities and cyber needs.
